Hyde Park Schools is launching its first major capital campaign since 2007—expanding our campuses to meet growing needs while staying rooted in Christ-centered education.

Why We're Building Beyond

The mission of Hyde Park Schools is to provide a Christ centered foundation grounded in Biblical truth, integrated with rigorous college-preparatory academics and comprehensive extracurricular programs that nurture the whole student.

Hyde Park Schools is partnering with parents, grandparents, and alumni to fund the first significant capital improvements since 2007. With prayerful discernment and the full support of the Board of Directors, HPS has launched this campaign to address current campus limitations.

These constraints impact our competitive athletics program, all-community gatherings, enrollment growth, and our ability to transition to a 4K-6th grade Lower School and 7th-12th grade Upper School model.

Preparing for Our Future

The Quarries campus will be the site for these new facilities, and Hyde Park Schools owns the land where construction will take place.

Guided by Vision, Grounded in Purpose

In the early summer of 2022, Hyde Park Schools began discussions around expanding the Quarries Campus to meet the needs of our growing student body. A comprehensive feasibility study was conducted, confirming both the necessity and viability of the project. The resulting Master Campus Plan outlines a visionary expansion that will serve our community for the next decade and beyond.

Since that time, an architectural development team has been actively planning and preparing for construction. The project will unfold in three strategic phases:

Phase 1
Panther Athletic Center
The Panther Athletic Center is a state-of-the-art facility built to support student wellness, character development, and athletic excellence. Completed as the first step in our campus expansion, this hub is already making a transformative impact on our school community.
Strength & conditioning space
Locker rooms with private showers
Offices for coaches and sports medicine
Wellness fuel station
Meeting rooms for team strategy and recruitment
Phase 2
Academic Expansion
A four-story academic building designed to support middle school growth, fine arts, and alumni engagement—built to inspire learning and creativity.
Fine Arts spaces & Black Box Theater
7th & 8th grade academic classrooms
Alumni Center on the top floor
Centralized location next to the Upper School
Phase 3
Student Life Center
The final phase will introduce a state-of-the-art Student Life Center designed to enrich campus life. Key features include:
A two-court competitive gymnasium and athletic complex
14 classrooms to serve the Middle School program to open up the classrooms in the Academic Expansion for Upper School students
Expanded outdoor spaces designed for student and community use

More Than Buildings

As a missional institution, Hyde Park remains steadfast in its commitment to building a Christ-like community, uniting families and staff to support the spiritual and academic development of each student.

This unique sense of community sets Hyde Park apart from neighboring schools and continues to draw families who seek a holistic, faith-centered educational experience.
