From 4K through 12th Grade, we’re committed to providing a solid foundation for building strong, Christ-centered leaders grounded in a biblical worldview. Students at Hyde Park Schools will graduate with valuable experience in serving the community and practicing Biblical leadership. Our curriculum gives practical opportunities for students to use their gifts in serving others while inviting students on a journey to experience and understand the most compelling aspects of the Christian faith.
Excellence in
College Prep Instruction
Our college preparatory program is designed to teach students the skills necessary to succeed in pre-college courses. Our college counselors provide guidance on how to pursue college after high school, while our teachers provide lessons and course content that develops the students' skills in critical thinking, collaboration, communication and creativity.
Academic Strategies
Academic strategies are interwoven within classroom instruction to support our students with the executive functioning skills necessary to be successful in school and life. A Hyde Park planner is provided to students in grades 4th-10th to support this commitment.
SARA
SARA is an award-winning, mastery-based learning platform designed to provide the highest quality PSAT, SAT, ACT, and college-readiness preparation to students at all levels.

Dual Credit Opportunities
We partner with Colorado Christian University and Austin Community College to offer students a great way to get ahead on their college education. Along with earned credits, our students leave for college with an increased level of college readiness.
Advanced Courses
15 Advanced and 20 A.P. courses offered at Hyde Park, students have a variety of options to continue seeking opportunities furthering their academic excellence. These courses are all designed to prepare students for the rigors of AP® and college-level courses.
Test Prep
The high school partners with a local organization, More Than a Teacher, to teach test taking strategy, time management, and the skills needed to understand the ACT/SAT and be successful. The student preparation through SARA coupled with a Test Prep course, prepares our students for success in both the ACT and SAT tests.
ALEKS
ALEKS is an online tutoring and assessment program used in 5th-8th grades which allows teachers to supplement classroom teaching with individualized instruction. Through ALEKS, students receive immediate feedback, unlimited math practice, and build confidence on topics tailored to their academic ability and individual needs.

We have various unique offerings that empower and equip students with the critical thinking and discernment skills they need to succeed in college, career, and beyond.
STEM
Hyde Park offers a variety of STEM-based elective courses and programs designed to develop students’ design-thinking and inquiry-based approaches to learning. From our elementary students’ access to our STEM lab, to our middle and high school elective programs, students pursue development in the research-based sciences, engineering and robotics fields, and computer sciences. Specialized programming engages students with field-based mentors and real-world opportunities for showcasing learning.
LEAP
The LEAP(Learning Environment for Academic Progress) program provides intentional support to students with learning differences through academic intervention and targeted individualized strategies in order to support students to empower students to become confident independent lifelong learners.

Competitions
We strive to foster deeper learning and encourage students to shine academically in varying content areas through different academic competition opportunities. Our students have the opportunity to participate in PSIA-Texas from 1st - 8th grade competing against other Texas private schools. In high school, students can participate in the TAPPS Academic Competitions, Best of Texas Competitions, and the NACS KnowledgeQuest Competition.
